Real Madrid’s Squad Ready for the Liverpool Showdown

On Tuesday night, Real Madrid will visit Anfield to take on Liverpool in the Champions League. Facing a struggling Reds side, despite their recent 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, coach Xabi Alonso has announced a squad of 22 players, with Franco Mastantuono among the notable absentees.

The young Argentine is dealing with pubalgia, and while Real Madrid has not yet disclosed the length of his absence, he will miss the upcoming match. Long-term injuries will also keep Dani Carvajal and Antonio Rüdiger out of the squad, along with David Alaba, who has been suffering from a calf injury for several weeks. French players Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ferland Mendy will, of course, be part of the team.
